Desert View Elementary School is a tight-knit, community-driven campus in north-central Phoenix. Since 1956, it has served the Sunnyslope neighborhood with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive place where every child can grow academically, socially, and individually. As part of the Washington Elementary School District, the school strives to ensure that every student is respected, supported, and empowered every day.
The curriculum is fully aligned with State Standards and supports students from preschool through sixth grade. Desert View blends strong foundations in core subjects with instructional approaches that build critical thinking and adapt to the needs of a diverse student body.
